How do you find duplicate in excel?

1. Select the range of cells you wish to test.


2. On Excel's Home tab, choose Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells Rules, and then Duplicate Values.


3. Click OK within the Duplicate Values dialog box to identify the duplicate values.


4. Duplicate values in the list will now be identified.

Finding duplicates in excel is an easy task. First of all, you have to select the no of cells for which you want to find the duplicates. You can also select the whole list by pressing cntrl+A. Now, from the excel home tab, select Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells Rules, and then Duplicate Values. Click on the duplicates value tab to get all the duplicates item in your list.
