Answer: 88

Step-by-step explanation:

first of all,

what is function ?

A function is the set of ordered pair in which no two different ordered pairs have the same first component .

If its given ,

f(x) = x + 1

means the value of function x is x+1.

if next its written in question to find the value of  f(2)

than the answer will be : 2 + 1 = 3

[here we put 2 as the value of x]

given,

f(x) = x^{2}  - 3x

we have to find f(-8),

here x = -8 ,

put the value of x,

f(-8) = (-8)^{2} - 3 *(-8)\\\\64 - (-24) \\\\64 + 24\\\\88

SOLUTION_

Given, f(-8) put on x

f(x)= x^2-3x

= f(-8)= (-8)^2-3×(-8)

=f(-8)= 64-(-24)

=f(-8)= 64 + 24

=f(-8) = 88

= 88 ans
