How do you find height of cuboid given length ,width and surface area?

Answer :-

  • We know that Total Surface area of a cuboid = 2( lb x bh x hl)

Where,

l = length

b = Breadth

h = height.

Let us assume that TSA as x,

Therefore,

x = 2(lb x bh x hl)

=> x = 2lb x 2bh x 2hl

=> x = 2lb x 2h( b x l)

=> x - 2lb = 2h (b x l)

=> x - 2lb = h x 2(b x l)

 =  >  \frac{x - 2lb}{2(b \times l)}  = h \\  =  > h =  \frac{x - 2lb}{2(b \times l)}  \:
