power or focal length of convex lens must be taken +ve

if image distance(v) and object distance(u) is given then by using lens formula. i.e. 1/v-1/u=1/f where f is focal length we can find focal length.
In case of convex lens v is positive and u is negative and value of f must be positive ✌✌
