Hey mate

Here is your answer

Hope help you

For this ,first you had to take their LCM of denomeratorand make them same .

1/4 and 3/5 have 4 and 5 as denomerator ,and their LCM is 20

So u had to make them same by multiplying them .

1/4 × 5/5 =5/20

3/5 × 4/4=12/20

If u need 6 number between 1/4and 3/5 ,so they are :-

6/20, 7/20,8/20,9/20,10/20,11/20

And if u need more number for example

You need 10 number so have to multiply the number by other numbers like ,

2/2 , 6/6 or 7/7

It depend upon your number,

Let's we take example of same number and u need 10 number between them ,so :-

5/20×4/4=20/80

12/20×4/4=48/80

So ,now u can find numbers between them .

NOTE:- u have to multiply both fraction by same numbers .

Hope help u

Given:

Two fractions 1/4 and 3/5.

To find:

Fraction between the given two fractions 1/4 and 3/5.

Solution:

To find the fraction between any two given fractions, first of all, we need to make the denominator of given fractions same.

So, as the denominators of given fractions are not the same, we take the LCM of denominators of given fractions.

LCM of 4 and 5 is 20.

To make the denominator 20, multiply 5 and 4 in both numerator and denominator of 1/4 and 3/5 respectively. Thus, we have

 \frac{1 \times 5}{4 \times 5} \: and \:  \frac{3 \times 4}{5 \times 4}

 \frac{5}{20}  and \:  \frac{12}{20}

Now, the fraction between 1/4 and 3/5 is between 5/20 and 12/20.

So, the fractions between given fractions are 6/20, 7/20, 8/20, 9/20, 10/20, 11/20.

Hence, one of the fractions between 1/4 and 3/5 is 6/20.
