slope - intercept form of a line :

y = mx + c where m = slope of a line and

c = y - intercept

On comparing the coeffiecients of x and y- intercept of equation y = -3x + 9 with the equation y = mx + c , we get

slope , m = -3 and y - intercept , c = 9

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

slope - intercept form of a line :

y = mx + c

where m  is slope of a line and

y - intercept is c

given equation y = -3x + 9    in  the form  y = mx + c ,

then   slope , m = -3 and y - intercept , c = 9
