Slope of a line having co-ordinates of end point ( x , y ) and ( a , b ) is given.

m = ( b - y )/( a - x )

Here x = -2 , y = 4 , a = 1 And b = -1

So, it's slope is

m ={ ( -1 -4 ) / 3 }

=>

m = -5/3
