How do you get to know which equation of motion to use for problems?
Any ideas or tricks or ways by which we can get to know?

there are total three equations

1) v= u+ at

this is a problem which arises with many of us.

this is used where u are given all three except v , most of the times it's used for this but is also used for finding u or t or a.

for eg

v= 15km/h

t= 12sec

and a = 5cm^2

so first change the units then put this formula .

now 2) s=it+1/2at^2

so it's used for finding distance(s) when u r given time ( it's speciality)

3) v^2=u^2-2as

for finding s when time is not given .

when u will practice u will definitely seek it .

hope it helps uh
