Swaminathan 's father knew his son well enough and he knew all his tactics.After hearing about Samuel from Swami he realized swami had mixed his imagination into Samuel's character and so he send him to school as he knew a strict and friendly teacher like Samuel is perfect for controling such a mischievous boy like him.So We can say that he knew his son very well.
