How do you know If you have good grades
Answers
How do you know that you're going to get a good grade on an exam?
(1) You’ve done well on previous exams in that class.
(2) You have a sense for how the teacher thinks and what she expects.
(3) You have studied an hour or two every day over the course of the term, rather than trying to cram all the information into your cranium in the last week (or last weekend) before the test.
(4) You feel confident because you know the material well enough to explain it to others.
(5) When you open your textbook and go systematically through the index, you not only recognize every term listed there, but you can explain each one clearly to someone who hasn’t taken the class.
(6) You have gone through study guides (if the teacher made any available), and verified that you have mastery of each item listed there.
(7) You have heavily marked your textbook over the course of the term—not just highlighting or underlining bits, but actually writing commentary, paraphrases, and questions in the margins as you read.
(8) You have 2–3 pages of notes for each day your class meets. So, in a 16-week, MWF class, you might have 96–144 pages of notes from lecture (or 54–72 if you write front and back).
These are all good signs.
