How do you know that blind people saw black if they know that is black

For clearest vision,light should fall on the blind spot of our eyes but in blind people this doesn't happen. The colour BLACK is nothing but the term given to absence of light. So,the eyes of the blind ones just don't react to light to form any image.Therefore,we can say that the colour they see is just BLACK.
