If you have to liquefy gases, you've gotta compress them, you've to put in a lot of pressure to compress a gas, it's not that easy.
You have to compress them a lot, at low temperatures, very low temperatures.
Then there is a chance that you might get the gas to liquefy into its fluid state.

Gases usually have a very low liquefaction point .they liquefy by
-1) decreasing the temperature
2) increasing the pressurethe KE of the molecules are forced to decrease as the intermolecular distance decreases and intermolecular forces increases . this changes the gas into liquid state .
