Method 1 :
1. Take out 3 gallons with measure 3 gallons from Container A & put in Container B
2. Take out 3 gallons from Container A with measure 3 gallons & transfer into 5 gallons measure
3. Take out 3 gallons from Container A again with measure 3 gallons and fill remaining 2 gallons in 5 gallons Measure and leaving behind 1 gallons in 3 gallons measure
4. transfer remaining 1 gallons from 3 gallons measure into container B
Now container B has 3 + 1 = 4 gallons
Method 2 :
1. Take out 5 gallons with measure 5 gallons from Container A & fill Measure 3 gallons & put remaining 2 gallons in Container B
2. Put 3 gallon measure in container A again
3. Take out 5 gallons with measure 5 gallons from Container A & fill Measure 3 gallons & put remaining 2 gallons in Container B
Container B has = 2 + 2 = 4 Gallons

Container A is full with liquid and container B is empty.
Two gallons are given one is 5 litre and other is 3 litre.
Subject : To fill container B upto 4 litre by using both gallons.
Solution : Take gallon of 5 litre , using this gallon
fill 2 times liquid in container B.
Now ,
container B have =( 5× 2 ) litre liquid = 10 litres.
Again take gallon of 3 litre ,
by using it take out liquid 2 times from container B
Now,
container. B have = 10 - (3×2)
= 10 - 6
= 4 litres
( note that container B shoud have capability of minimum 10 litre by doing this method)
