ANSWER:

In order to observe Lactobacillus bacterium the yoghurt is used as specimen.

EXPLANATION:

• The small drop of yoghurt is taken and placed on slide. The smear is made and left for 2 to 3 seconds

• Then the small drop of methylene blue strain is dropped on smear.

• The smear is covered with cover slip

• Later the slide is kept under the lens of compound microscope of 4X and 10X magnification and viewed for lactobacillus bacteria.
