Distributive justice refers to the justified social allocation of goods. These goods include income facilities and wealth that should be equally distributed amongst the members of a society.
India has had a history of complaints regarding land grabbing, marginalization, and encroachment, especially in the rural areas. So, Distributive justice comes into action where land should be distributed equally amongst the tribals.
Also, the distribution of goods should be made equally depending on the available quantities of the goods.
There are many initiatives in India like the subsidy system, the reservation system, and the taxation systems which have been a part of the distributive justice system.
Although distributive justice calls for ethical distribution, there are many objections to it especially from the Corporate aristocracy and political fronts.
