Solution:

25x²-24x-9=-7x²+12x-18

=> 25x²+7x²-24x-12x-9+18=0

=> 32x²-36x+9=0

Splitting the middle term,we get

=> 32x²-24x-12x+9=0

=> 8x(4x-3)-3(4x-3)=0

=> (4x-3)(8x-3)=0

=> 4x-3 = 0 or 8x-3 = 0

=> 4x = 3 or 8x = 3

=> x = 3/4 or x = 3/8
