How do you solve 4+5(3−x)=4(8+2x)?

4+5(3-x)=4(8+2x)

4+15-5x=32+8x

19-5x=32+8x

19-32=8x+5x

-13 = 13x

x=-13/13

x=-1

solve 4+5(3−x)=4(8+2x)

LHS:

4+5×3-5×x

=4+15-5x

=19-5x.

RHS:.

4 (8+2x) = 32+8x

.

so..

19-5x.=32+8x

19-32=8x+5x..

-13=13 x..

x=13/-13=-1.
