How do you solve 5(2x−1)−3(x−4)=4(x+4)?

5 ( 2x - 1 ) - 3 ( x - 4 ) = 4 ( x + 4 )

10x - 5 - 3x + 12 = 4x + 16

7x + 7 = 4x + 16

7x - 4x = 16 - 7

3x = 9

x = 3

Hence, the value of x is 3.
