x=-20/7 +6

SUBSTITUTING THE VALUE OF (i) IN (ii);
3x+ (x-6/2)=8
6x+ x-6/2= 8 (by taking LCM in left hand side)
7x- 6= 16
7x= 16+6
x= 22/7
PUTTING THE VALUE x IN (i);
y= 22/7-6/2
y= -10/7
