How do you solve for diameter, if only given a circumference?

well if circumference is given, it's equal to 2*pi*r and simply divide your given parameter by pi you will get the answer.

You can solve it by just applying the formula ,

For e.g , if a circle has a circumference of 42 cm

We can find it's diameter by applying the formula of circumference ,

Circumference = 2 x π x r

Here , We know the value of π as 22/7

So ,42 = 2 x 22 /7 x r

=> 42 x 7 / 44 = r

Here you can find the value of "r" which is radius and then multiplying it by 2 you can easily find the diameter
