2x-13y=9..............(i)

17x+2y=6.............(ii)

solving (i) and (ii) we get

34x-221y=153

- 34x+4y=12

-225y=141

y =-141/225

putting the value of y in equation (i)

2x-13*-141/225=9

2x=9-8.14

2x=0.86

x=0.43
