How do you solve the system 3x+6y=30 and x+6y=20?

Your answer is here..,

It will solve by elimination method.

3x + 6y = 30.....(1)

x + 6y = 20....(2)

equation (1) - (2)

3x + 6y = 30

x + 6y = 20

-. - -

2x. = 10

x = 10/5

x = 2

put x = 2 in equation...(2)

x + 6y = 20

2 + 6y = 20

6y = 20 - 2

6y = 18

y = 18/6

y = 3

therefore solution of (x,y) = (2,3)
