How do you solve the system of equations: y = -3x + 5 and 5x - 4y = -3?

5(3x+y=5)....(1)

-3(5x-4y=-3)...(2)

15x+5y=25..(1)

-15x+12y=9...(2)

17y=34

y=2

on putting the value of y I. equ..(1)

we get,

15x+10=25

15x=15

x=1
