7x-2y=12...1-equation

4x+5y=13...2-equation

from 1st equation

x=(12+2y)/7

put the value in 2nd equation

4(12+2y)/7 +5y=13

(48+8y)/7 +5y=13

(48+8y+35y)/7=13

48+43y=13×7

43y=91-48

y=43/43

y=1

the value of y put in 1st equation

7x-2=12

7x=12+2

x=14/7

x=2
