Do you mean elimination?

-x - 6y = - 18

- ( x + 6y) = - 18

x + 6y = 18 -----------(1)

x - 6y = - 6 -----------(2)

Add equations (1) and (2), we get

x + 6y + x - 6y = 18 - 6

2x = 12

x = 6

Substitute x = 6 in equation (2), we get

6 - 6y = - 6

6y = - 6 - 6

-6y = - 12

y = - 12/-6

y = 2

Therefore, x=6 and y = 2.
