Enright is a character in the story The Making of a scientist. This story explains us about a small boy growing up into a great scientist with a lot of ups and down through his journey but finally came out as a successful person.

Earlier when he was a small boy he didn't have friends to play with and of course what he was doing is to collect things. All he had was his mother, his best and his only companion and they always did stuff together. When Enright had no work to do his mother found him work, physical work but learning stuff and he was eager to learn things

Later in a science fair he lost once trying to do a neat presentation while all others had won something. Next year he did some real experiment about the disease that comes to butterflies and eventhough he didn't get some real results he won!!

He also used to tag butterflies for research. His mother used to take him on tours, buy him telescopes, microscopes, camera, mounting materials and other equipments which helped him a lot. All these things made a great scientist in the future.
