Modern buildings are more contested and cemented. Almost all of the space in modern buildings is occupied. There are no places left without being cemented.

Birds were fond of the holes in the walls or air ways in the walls of the conventional architecture.  

Conventional architecture had a lot of trees grown around the main building of house which provided habitat for a lot of bird species.
