dams across the rivers
affect the delta soils ?

ANSWER:

YES IT AFFECTS,

When rivers flows it carry sediments and stones,rocks trap towards the surface.When it goes to down streams the sediments and rocks are remain on surface . Likewise it affects the delta soil.

Hmm,As per ur question

  • There is an difference between the rivers and the water stored in the dam.
  1. According to the nature's process it is the sun's rays which will heat the land surface faster than the water surface. Similarly the rivers will have sun's rays daily as per the stored water in the dam doesn't receive the sunlight and when these stored water are allowed to flow out these go and mix up as they get mixed these waters can harm the living organism's present in the water . Similarly these waters when they overflow and comes and flows over the lands this will affect the land soils due to lack of sunlight presence ,excess of germs and many others etc.
