Cataract is a disease in which the biconvex lense present in the person's eye turns opaque and he faces difficulty to see or at time even may face complete blondness. This can be surgically treated by replacing the person's defective lense with a small plastic lense which is implanted behind or in front of the Iris. Dis can also be done by removing the lense and in it's place, placing a highly convex lense, compensating for the missing lense..
