How do you use long division to divide (x4+5x3+6x2−x−2)÷(x+2)?

EXPLANATION :

For dividing (x4+5x3+6x2−x−2) and (x+2) , firstly we fill divide x^4 from x = x^3.

Then , we will write this x^3 in the quotient .

Then , by multiplying x^3 to (x +2) we will get ....x^4 + 2x^3.

Now , we will subtract this x^4 + 2x^3 with the dividend .

The remaining will be the next dividend.

After this the process will be comtinued till the remainder is zero .
