Answer : -3

Step by step explanation :

3( - 2) + 6 - ( - 2) - 5

Multiply the numbers. Multiplying a positive and a negative equals a negative : (+) × (-) = (-)

 = > - 6 + 6 - ( - 2) - 5

When there is a "-" in front of the parenthesis change the sign of each term in parenthesis.

 = > - 6 + 6 + 2 - 5

Eliminate the opposites

 = > 2 - 5

Calculate the difference.

Keep the sign of the number with the larger absolute value and subtract the smaller absolute value from the larger.

 = > - (5 - 2)

Subtract the numbers.

 = > - 3
