How do you write 2x+3y=1200 in a function notation?

Solution:

2x+3y = 1200

=> 3y = -2x+1200

=> y = (-2x+1200)/3

=> y = f(x) = (-2x+1200)/3

Therefore,

y = f(x) = (-2x+1200)/3
