The number 56 can be written by using only 5 in the following way:

  • Let us assume A = 5
  • Let us assume B = (5+5)
  • Let us assume C = (5/5)
  • Now on using these assumed variables, we can write 56 as follows:

        A x B + A + C

  • On putting the values, we get,

       = 5 X (5+5) +5 + (5/5)

       = 5 x 10 + 5 +1

       = 56

  • Thus the number 56 was written using six instances of number 5.
