How do you write an inverse variation equations given y = 3 when x = 7?

I think it's answer is :

[y = 7-3] and [x = 4+3]

Explanation :

Inverse means one value increases and another value decreases.

therefore if we expand the first equation by using addition.

and second equation by using subtraction.
