A Biogas Plant consists of an air-tight tank in which organic waste products such as crop waste, food waste, sewage etc. is stored. Bacteria converts this organic waste into biogas, which is mainly composed of methane and carbon dioxide gas and the digestate which is the leftover material, after the process of conversion.
Basically, the Biogas Plant is an anaerobic digester, which converts organic waste into biogas.
