How does a cactus plant make food. Is it did photosynthesis for food or not

Cactus plant makes its food by PHOTOSYNTHESIS.

It takes CO2 from atmosphere and Water from soil using its roots which are soo deep inside the soil that helps them to suck water.

In presence of sunlight and chlorophyll, it forms Glucose and O2 .

Hence, Food is synthesised .

Note: The leaves of a Cactus is modifyied into thorn which reduces Transpiration rate .
