When there is a calamity or disaster in a state or country , - This disaster or calamities wash out all the crops produced by farmers who work hard for it. And when there is a shortage of food due to calamities so this leads to high price in the market because of shortage. So here poor people are not able to buy the food due to high price so hence a calamity affect the food security.
