Litmus Paper in acidic solution turns red and the Litmus Paper in basic solution turns red to blue

by changing it's colour as if we put litmus paper in acidic solution then it's colour will change from blue to red and if we put litmus paper in basic solution then it's colour changes from red to blue . this is how we detect acidic and basic solution by litmus
