Party nomination is commonly called party ticket was given to a member of a party that allows that member to become a candidate to contest election from a particular constituency representing the party.


A date is specified by Election commission for various candidates who wish to contest in elections to file their nomination paper within that date.


Nomination fees are required to be deposited by a candidate. The nomination of candidates  is the formal procedure by which political parties and  individuals put or can become a candidates for the election.
