THE RIM OF THE PITCHER IS SLIPPERY . WHEN MOISTENED BY CONDENSATION OR NECTAR CAUSING INSECTS INTO THE TRAP .THE CAVITY IS FILLED WITH DIGESTIVE LIQUID .
