Answer:

Torrid Zone:

It is the zone between Tropic of Cancer( 23.5 degrees N) and tropic of Capricorn( 23.5 degrees S).

This zone receives maximum heat from Sun as mid-day Sun is exactly overhead at least once a year on all latitudes.

Temperate Zone:

It is the zone between Tropic of Cancer( 23.5 degrees N) and Arctic Circle( 66.5 degrees N) in northern Hemisheper and between Tropic of Capricorn( 23.5 degrees S) and Antarctic Circle( 66.5 degrees S) in Southern Hemisphere

There are two temperate zones on Earth.

In this zone, there is moderate temperature as mid-day Sun never overhead beyond tropic of cancer and tropic of Capricorn and angle goes decreasing when we go toward poles.

Frigid Zone:

It is a region between Arctic circle( 66.5 degrees N) and North Pole( 90 degrees N) in the northern hemisphere and Antarctic Circle( 66.5 degrees S) and South Pole( 90 degrees S) in the southern hemisphere.

In this region, Sun does not rise much above Horizen, and always slanting rays does not much provide much heat; thus it is called frigid Zone.
