☆ social differences are present in every country. they can be on the basis of race, region, religion etc.

☆ these social differences become social division when one of the social difference overlaps the other one or we can say when a social difference becomes more important than the other one it becomes social division.

☆ we see that most of the black people are not having good jobs, good education etc and most of white people are having good jobs and better place to live in, all because of social division based on race. in India, dalits are mostly found to be homeless and poor.

Heya !!

• A social difference becomes a social division when it overlaps with some other social difference.

• When one kind of social difference becomes more important than the other, then it leads to social division.

• In other words, a social difference become a social division when it coincides with other social differences, which in turn serve to heighten the said difference.

• For example, the Whites were rich and powerful and the Blacks were poor and homeless and discriminated against.

Hope my ans.'s satisfactory.
