How does a stretch string on being set into vibration, produce the audible sound.????

the stretched string makes air to vibrate. this vibrating air in turn affects our ear drum and produces an audible sound....

stretched strings vibrate, they force the surrounding air to vibrate. This vibrating air, affects our eardrum and produces an audible range.
