Hello!

The reason why a football that has been thrown is because of a couple simple factors! The biggest thing you need to know about this is that gravitational potential energy is the position it starts and the kinetic is the actual throwing of the ball!

I hope I've helped! If I have please be sure to mark Brainliest and have a good day!

Gravitational potential energy is the position it starts and the kinetic is the actual throwing of the ball. The combined energy is mechanical energy. If a pendulum is allowed to continue to swing, it will eventually stop.
