Tungsten filament or LED brightness when electricity flows through it,
thus producing a visual light.

Here's ur answer:-
When electricity flows through the light bulb,it is converted to heat energy. When the filament gets heated to a greater extent, it emits a white light or any other colour light depending upon the nature of the bulb or the gas that is used for illumination.
