unicellular organism function by simple diffusion because of simple body structure but in case of multicellular oraganism due complex structure it does not use simple diffusion

A unicellular organism carries out all life supporting functions including feeding, digestion, excretion, reproduction and movement. Many unicellular organisms live in bodies of water and must move around to find food. Plant-like protists, and some types of bacteria, can make their own food through photosynthesis
it is different from multicellular organisms as all the functions of the body is carried out by single cell where as in multicellular organisms each cell have specific tasks
