How does a water solubility helps sea animals like fish and aquatic plants?

The water solubility help aquatic plants and animals to breathe in oxygen. As u know that humans can't breathe under water though the oxygen is dissolved but aquatic animals and plants can. Bcz oxygen and other gases are dissolved in water due to which aquatic organisms can live even at deepest points of sea..
