Afforestation help in controlling air pollution as planting more trees increases the oxygen content in air nd as the main cause of air pollution is increased carbon dioxide emissions , the carbon dioxide emitted gets converted into oxygen nd hence afforestation helps controls air pollution.

Afforestation play a big role in the pollution as cycle as now a days people are cutting down all the trees which is causing more pollution . afforestation is to plant new trees and when everyone starts to plant at least one seed we can get trees which will clean our environment.
