Heya friend!!
Rajdeep here....
Ammonia solution is NH4OH
Let a solution with copper ion be CuSO4
So,
CuSO4 + NH4OH -----> Cu(OH)2 + (NH4)2SO4
(We get a pale blue precipitate).
On adding excess NH4OH on the precipitate,
Cu(OH)2 + (NH4)2SO4 + 2NH4OH ---->
Cu[(NH3)4]SO4 + H2O
We get an azure blue solution of tetraammene copper sulphate.
Thanks!!
