amoeba obtains its food through phagocytosis with the help of pseudopodia i.e. false feet, which helps in locomotion

Amoebas ingests the food by phagocytosis that is surrounding the food and then bringing it inside a vesicle. Then they digest the food by fusing a lysosome to the food vesicle. Then breaksdown everything in its basic form.
